In September 2013, Changchun TV comprehensive channel (CTV-1) interviewed Chinese fingerpicking guitarist - "Ivan Song", perhaps the first ever program about fingerpicking guitar broadcast by a local TV station, and the response was very high. He is not only limited to playing solo on one guitar, but also accepts and incorporates newer forms of musical expression.

He is often asked, "Why don't you sing?" and "Why is the intro of this song so long?" He answers simply. His answer is simple - please treat fingerstyle guitar performance as a piano solo concert. In the difficult road of promoting fingerpicking guitar music, Ivan Song always persists. And he keeps participating in music-related activities to let more people know and understand "fingerpicking guitar" as a form of music expression.

In order to better promote the fingerpicking style, he also participated in many lectures. In April 2015, the TEDx lecture JLUHP station "Chinese ancient music style" Ivan Song was honored to be on the TEDx conference in the United States.Ivan Song is the first Chinese to speak at the TEDx conference on Chinese fingerstyle guitar.

Ivan Song was born in Jilin Province, Northeast China on July 3, 1984, and is originally from Shandong Province. He is a young Chinese fingerstyle guitarist, a pioneer promoter of Chinese fingerstyle guitar, and the spokesperson of Crafter guitar brand in Korea.

In 1987, he learned violin and was not interested in playing instruments, so he left the bow of the violin aside and played the violin as a guitar.

In 1992, after learning that there was an instrument that could be played with a hug, his family hired a music teacher for him to learn classical and folk guitar. Like most of the "post-80s", he had a "rock and roll dream", and in 1998, he went to learn to play electric guitar with Liu Bo, an excellent local teacher.
