Mr. Da Mao & Japanese singer Yo Hitoto’sfamous song "Hana Mizuki"!
Music Topic:
Hanamizuki
It is a famous song by Japanese singer-songwriter Yo Hitoto. The song was released on the eve of Valentine's Day 2004 as the title track of Yo Hitoto’s fifth single album. It was widely loved and It spent 125 weeks at the top of the ORICON singles chart and still has a top karaoke spot.
Yo Hitoto's composition was prompted by the 9/11 terrorist attacks and a letter from a friend in New York. It took a whole week to write the song with keywords like "terrorist incident" and "shotgun", and the lyrics were naturally pinned on the desire for peace and tranquility, but without any of the grand words of eulogizing the commonwealth of the world, they just quietly spoke of the good wishes for the loved ones, without the slightest hint of 9/11. The ambiguity of the character and the sincerity of the song is perhaps the greatest charm of the song, which makes different people evoke different thoughts and return to the same tender state of mind.
